This blog is for alumni of the Inside-Out Program. We want a place where we can share about our experiences and the ways we have used what we learned in our classes. Several universities across the country have started to develop formal alumni groups that are already creating their own programs and projects. We hope that this blog will help inspire new groups and individuals who want to do the same.
Some alumni have used their experiences with Inside-Out to continue work on prison issues, in education, or in intergroup dialogue. Others have applied the skills to work in conflict mediation, restorative justice, community engagement, and leadership positions. Inside and outside alumni alike have gone on to work in these various areas. We want to be able to share these stories.
If you are part of a developing alumni group through your city, university, or correctional institution, we want to empower you to create new project ideas. We will enable new leaders to be admins and contributors to the blog. If you are an individual with something to say, please send us your blog and we would be happy to post it to you.
